ISIL Suicide Bombing Shuts Down Iraq-Jordan Border
A three-car suicide bomber attack claimed by ISIL has shut down the only crossing on the Iraqi-Jordanian border.
The Iraq-Jordan border has been shut down following a suicide bombing at the Karameh checkpoint, al-Mayadeen television reports.

At least 15 border guards were killed by the explosion and 22 were injured after three car bombs exploded. The Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack.
The explosion took place on the Iraqi side of the border, in the country's Anbar province, which is facing an ISIL insurgency. Several nearby buildings as well as the checkpoint itself were damaged by the explosion.
Despite an Iraqi government's continuing offensive against the group, Islamic State militants launched an attack Wednesday in Iraq’s western Anbar province.
On Friday evening, the group killed a senior Iraqi army commander as well as three officers in a suicide attack.
