Biography of Franky Vercauteren the new Zamalek club coach 

The president of the Zamalek Club, Murtada Mansour, announced the hiring of Belgian trainer Franky Vercauteren to lead the training of the first football team at the Zamalek Club.

Franky Vercauteren was born on the 28th of October 1956 and played at the center of the left-wing of the Belgian team, as well as the Belgian Anderlecht club, and then turned directly into the soccer practice.


The player Franky Vercauteren began his ball career at the Belgian Anderlecht club in the ranks of the group's emerging, and then he was stepped up to play with the first team, played by Franky Vercauteren with the Belgian Anderlecht club for 12 years, from 1975 to 1987.

He then moved to the Belgian Anderlecht club and served as assistant coach from 1999 to 2005, after which he led the first team from 2005 to 2007, he won the Belgian league twice, and the Super Cup twice, and did not reconcile to get the Belgian Cup.

After that, the Belgian team trained in 2009 and did not last long with the team and left the training in the same year, Franky Vercauteren took over training of the Belgian gene club in 2009 until 2011, he was able to achieve the Belgian League Championship, as well as the Belgian super.

He went on to train the Al Jazeera club and continued his training for one season, and then went to Portugal to train the sporting Club of Lisbon and continued with the team for one year.

He moved to Russia to train the "Creila Sovatov Samara" club from 2014 to 2016 in the Russian second class, and was able to climb the team to the excellent Russian league.

He returned to the Arab region this year in 2017 after Murtada Mansour announced his contract to train the Zamalek club in the Egyptian Premier League for the current 2017/2018 season.
