Hong Kong prepares for the hurricane Hato and cancels some flights
The Hong Kong Observatory reported that it may raise the warning level of Typhoon Hato, which is expected to be about 100 kilometers from the city in the early hours of Tomorrow morning (Wednesday), to the third highest level by midnight today, disrupting flights and other transportation services.

The national airline Cathay Pacific said the typhoon would affect its operations "strongly" and that it would most of the flights to and from Hong Kong are cancelled from 22:00 on Thursday evening, until 9 a.m. tomorrow morning, GMT. Other transport services, including ferries, are to be suspended.

The eighth level is the third highest warning of tropical cyclones in Hong Kong, while the tenth level is the highest ever.
