The largest family in the world: Indian Ziona. He has 39 wives, 86 sons and daughters, and 35 grandchildren

In the courtyard of a house in Mizoram, northeast of India, an army of meat cutters, mash, and shish. However, these are not soldiers or police forces; they are members of one family whose head is a man named Ziona. Felicia has 39 wives, 86 sons and daughters, and 35 grandchildren, which made his family the largest in the world.

The 160-member family lives in a large four-storey house with 22 bedrooms. "I think God chose us to follow His message. My children do not want to leave this place," says Ziona. "What they want is to go on with the same tradition and gradually increase the family."

In the middle of the house, which is the vital site of Ziona's house, the slaughter takes place three times a week, and at other times thirty chickens and a large pig hog are cooked.

For lunch, the family uses 25 kilos of rice and 40 kilos of potatoes, and while some of the wives cook, other wives oversee the arrangements and preparations.

Ziona married for the first time at the age of seventeen, and today the age of his first wife 70 years, while his youngest wife is 31 years old.

The family grows their own crops, raises their livestock as well, while children go to a nearby school every day.

India is expected to soon become the world's most populous country beyond China by 2030, but the living conditions of people there such as the Ziona family may not give them a decent life.

"We have no problem living in a crowded place because we are used to it," says one Ziona son. "When any of us goes away, we feel very lonely."

Ziona, who prefers to stay out of the limelight, was the reason why his family was not included in the Guinness Book of Records.

With 7 billion people in the world, Ziona does not appear to be concerned about the scarcity of natural and other resources. All he cares about today is that his family stay around him and grow bigger by the day.
