The company HMD Global introduced the smartphone Nokia 2, the cheapest device in the new line of Nokia.

Nokia 2 was introduced in India at an event in Gurgaon, a suburb of New Delhi. But the device is intended not only for the Indian market, writes Android Authority.

The smartphone runs on the base of the entry-level processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 212. Among the features of this processor is LTE support and high energy efficiency. As the operating system is used Android 7.1, but soon the gadget will be updated to Android 8.0 Oreo with built-in Google Assistant.

Nokia 2 is equipped with a 5-inch display with HD resolution, 5-megapixel frontal and 8-megapixel main camera. The device received 1 GB of operative and 8 GB of internal memory with the possibility of expansion by microSD cards.

One of the main features of the device manufacturer calls the battery capacity of 4100 mAh. With a low-power processor and a display with a lower resolution, this battery should last long. The developers claim that if you use your smartphone for five hours a day, then the battery lasts for two days.

Nokia 2 will be sold in Europe at a price of 99 euros. The gadget will go on sale in mid-November in three colors: black, white and gray.
