Sudanese Minister of Investment: 100 million feddans ready for Egyptian investments
Mubarak said that the investment relations between Egypt and Sudan need a big boost in the coming period, stressing that the Sudan has about 150 million acres of agricultural benefit, which is exploited and already produces about 50 million acres, and therefore there are about 100 million Acres in Sudan ready for Egyptian investors, which achieves the self-sufficiency of Egypt in many agricultural crops, as the arable land in Egypt is about 6 million acres only.

"Some of the Egyptian investment projects in Sudan have already stopped. There was a real estate project in Sudan for the businessman," Mubarak al-Mahdi, the Sudanese Minister of Investment, told the Seventh Day, during his participation in the activities of the World Business Forum, organized by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Ahmed Bahgat, has been frozen for some time, stressing that Egypt has a good opportunity for economic cooperation with Sudan in the import of Sudanese meat and oils of all kinds, in addition to cooperation in the fields of food industry.

The fourth session of the Pan-African Business Forum, organized by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will take place over two days under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. And a number of senior officials and about 1000 senior economic figures, decision makers and experts to discuss the prospects for upgrading the economic reality and the development of trade and investment relations with the countries of the African continent through the sessions of the Forum and its themes.

The forum, organized by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Dubai's Madinat Jumeirah, will be attended by Amina Gharib, President of the Republic of Mauritius, Paul Kagame, President of the Republic of Rwanda, President of the Republic of Seychelles, and Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, President of the Republic of Uganda.
