Sissi discusses with Russian defense minister military cooperation
Ambassador Bassam Radi, spokesman for the presidency, said that President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi received Florence Barley, the French Minister of Armed Forces, in the presence of the Sudanese Minister of Defense and Military Production, Mr. Sadki Sobhi, as well as the French Ambassador in Cairo.

He also stressed the importance of continuing coordination and intensive consultation between the two countries on issues and challenges of common concern and means of dealing with them during the coming period.

The Spokesman added that the French minister stressed the importance that her country attaches to strengthening and strengthening the existing relations between the two countries at all levels, including military and security, as well as the continuous coordination between them on the challenges facing the Middle East, pointing out in this context to what Egypt represents Of the main pillar of security and stability in the region.

Florence Barley also confirmed her keenness to follow up the results of the president's successful visit to Paris last October, which will contribute to enhancing the existing cooperation between the two countries.

The French minister praised the Egyptian efforts to combat terrorism, stressing that her country stands with Egypt in the face of this common challenge.

Ambassador Bassam Radhi said that the meeting discussed ways to enhance military cooperation between the two countries.
