    Spanish clubs Liverpool and Barcelona have reached a "preliminary agreement" on the transfer of Brazil's Felipe Coutinho from first to second in a deal worth up to 160 million euros, Spanish media reported Saturday.

    The deal will be distributed between 120 million euros as a transfer fee and 40 million euros as bonuses and bonuses, making the 25-year-old Coutinho the third most expensive player in the history of the game, the Catalan daily Sport reported.

    The newspaper said that "Philippe Coutinho will become a player in Barcelona in the next five days, unless the negotiations collapsed on the final details," adding that Barcelona "reached yesterday, Friday, a preliminary agreement from Liverpool on the final value of the deal.

    In a related context, the newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" Catalan that Liverpool asking for about 160 million euros, distributed between the value of the transfer and incentives and rewards "easy" investigation.

    The newspaper said that Coutinho himself was willing to pay up to 15 million euros to facilitate the deal he wanted to accomplish last summer.

    Coutinho and the deal have been in place for months, and with the start of the winter transfer season which continues until the end of January, Barcelona has tried twice. Barcelona tried again last summer to include Coutinho in an attempt to compensate for his move to Paris Saint-Germain in a record deal of 222 million euros .

    However, Liverpool refused more than one offer to the player who made his own request to leave. In later stages, officials at the Barcelona club revealed that Liverpool was asking for 200 million euros to give up.

    Coutinho missed the first two games for Liverpool in 2018, with German coach Juergen Klopp confirming that he was injured, but reports from the English and Spanish media indicated that the player had told his club that he was unwilling to play with him anymore and was trying to complete the Barcelona deal as soon as possible.
