Militants bombarded Russian Reconciliation Center in Syria
Illegal armed groups shelled the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Warring Parties in Syria . As a result of rocket and mortar attacks by militants from Eastern Gut, several civilians were killed, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry said.

There are no casualties among Russian servicemen. In total, six shelling of residential areas, including Damascus hotels, are recorded.

The representative of the CPAF, Major-General Yury Yevtushenko, said that the situation in East Guta continues to worsen. Earlier on February 20 it was reported that the Russian military are taking part in a major operation of the Syrian army to eliminate militants in East Gut. On February 18, Syrian government forces began striking at positions of Islamist groups in the region.
