Facebook rewards those who report data misuse
Facebook has announced the launch of a "data abuse" reward program to reward individuals who provide evidence of an application on the Facebook platform that collects and transmits user data to a third party for sale or theft or for use in fraudulent or politically influential programs.

According to the Reuters news agency, the announcement came ahead of congressional hearings on Tuesday and Wednesday, in which Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg showed how Cambridge Interactive Policy Consultants managed to get data about 87 million Facebook users inappropriately.
