Buducnost VOLI Podgorica - Real Madrid Highlights | Turkish Airlines EuroLeague RS Round 19 Today 18/1/2018  Buducnost VOLI Podgorica - Real Madrid Highlights | Turkish Airlines EuroLeague RS Round 19 Today 18/1/2018 , The European champions are going to a court where CSKA, Baskonia and Barcelona have all lost.

It's three out of three for Real Madrid this month in Euroleague. Today's clash, and Friday's against Anadolu Efes will close out the Whites' participation in European competition for January, while they've got two League games still to come. Laso's team sit second in the table, as they seek to secure a play-off spot as soon as possible and hope for a Fenerbahçe slip-up which would help the Whites' to first place (basket average is currently in their favour).

Real Madrid must make the most of their fine defensive run, which has seen them reduce their points conceded to 70.5 over the last seven continental games. It's less than 80 in any game, 79 the highest figure (against Maccabi). The defensive rebound will be a key point (best team) along with the intimidation-factor (almost 3 blocks per game), personified by Tavares. This is added to the turnovers by Campazzo or Taylor's, less tangible defensive efforts, one of the team's best performers in this sense.

If we're talking about individual efforts, few names stand out more than these two in recent games: Randolph and Ayón. The center, a key name in the Euroleague starting-five, has hit double digits in point-scoring and PIR for five games in a row. Meanwhile, the Mexican has the best percentages on two-pointers, and has started 2019 in spectacular fashion, both in the League and in the Euroleague.

It was a somewhat tumultuous end of the year for Buducnost Podgorica. The management decided to take a different route, dismissing Dzikic, who had led the first clash this campaign (89-55), taking on Repesa, a legend on the European benches. The same goes for the squad, with the arrival of Norris Cole (21.5 points in four games), the youngster Bitadze (14.8, 6.8 rebounds and 3.3 blocks) and Bell.

They put an end to their poor run of six consecutive defeats last time out when they beat Darussafaka. All four of their wins have come at home, with Baskonia, CSKA and Barcelona all coming unstuck.
